Our campers have a busy week! Our day begins at 7:30, with a morning watch service. Each day the campers attend class, swim, and participate in crafts and recreational activities. The week is filled with fellowship, music, friendship, prayer, reflection and spiritual growth. Our campers and counselors grow closer to God and stronger in their faith while having a great time!
Singletary Lake is one of a series of Carolina bay lakes that stretch from New Jersey to Florida along the Atlantic Coastal Plain. Exactly how the lakes were formed remains a mystery. What is known is that Singletary Lake is not fed by any stream but relies entirely upon rain. Singletary Lake State Park is located in eastern North Carolina, near White Lake.
Singletary Lake State Park is a great place to visit. From the serene beauty of the lake during morning watch to the lizards sunning themselves on the mess hall steps and the music that fills the air during our evening worship service, God’s presence is always easily felt at Camp Singletary.
